The leading international summit for cities and urban innovation creates an event for the Covid era.
We are pleased to officially announce the last collaboration that EuroXR has undertaken with Smart City Live and we are glad to support their cause.
Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC), the leading international summit on cities and smart urban solutions organized by Fira de Barcelona will hold on November 17-18 an innovative edition under the name Smart City Live. The urban summit will present a new two-day format aimed at providing the best possible urban knowledge platform in and for the Covid19 pandemic context.
SCEWC’s director, Ugo Valenti, said that “our main goal this year is to provide a platform to reconnect and rebuild ecosystems and accelerate recovery of urban ecosystems, with a new model that allows us, through the digital medium, to connect and reach every actor in our industry.”
The new Smart City Live will consist of a full-day, broadcast television show on day one, with interviews, debates, and success stories focusing on how COVID-19 has impacted cities and is redefining citizens’ normality, plus a program on day two featuring workshops, sessions, and side events, which will gather key players and global institutions to tackle the challenges beyond the short-term impact of the pandemic.
The live television program held on November 17th will focus on the global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, how it has affected cities in particular, and how metropolises are redefining themselves to adapt to this new scenario. Through interviews, debates, reports, and success stories, Smart City Live will address the recent changes in mobility, consumption, and services, among other topics.
