EuroXR 2021, 18th International Conference, taking place on 24-26 November 2021, organized in collaboration with CNR-STIIMA institute Milano, Italy.
This conference follows a series of successful international conferences initiated in 2004 by the INTUITION Network of Excellence in Virtual and Augmented Reality, supported by the European Commission until 2008.
The focus of EuroXR conference is on novel VR/AR/MR technologies, including software systems, display technology, interaction devices, and applications. Besides papers on the latest scientific results and highlights from many application fields, the EuroXR conference series aims at creating a unique human-dimension framework, interconnecting European and international XR communities, for knowledge cross-fertilization between researchers, technology providers, and end-users.
CNR-STIIMA stands for “Institute of Intelligent Industrial Technologies and Systems for Advanced Manufacturing of the National Council of Research in Italy”. The Institute’s strategic mission is the growth of competitiveness and sustainability of manufacturing in Italy and Europe through industrial innovation.

He is active in the VR field for over 20 years mainly in Manufacturing and Health Care Sectors, leading research projects which aim to support industrial research and the transfer of research results to companies.
Virtual and Augmented Reality play a key role in the development and the deployment into European manufacturing companies of new and advanced human-oriented supporting tools. In fact, these technologies can put the human being as a center of a production system supported by new technologies.
CNR-STIIMA is ready to welcome the many visitors in the Milan Insitute who every year come to take part in the customary three-day event, last year we reached more than 250 visitors.
In case physical attendance at the conference will not be feasible (due to Covid-19), EuroXR 2021 will become a virtual conference that will allow all authors to present their work.
