EuroVR 2019 Confernece: deadlines extended

New deadlines for EuroVR 2019 International Conference –  Scientific Contributions.

The conference, which will take place at the TalTech Mektory Building (Tallinn, Estonia) on October 23-25, 2019, gives a new opportunity to all the researchers interested in submitting their work to the convention. In fact, after a number of requests, the GC chairs, and IPC chairs decided to extend the deadlines for Sl at EuroVR 2019 as follow:

  • Scientific Full paper submissions: June 28, 2019, 23:59 CEST
  • Scientific Poster paper submissions: July 3, 2019, 23:59 CEST
  • Notification to authors for all Scientific contributions: July 19, 2019
  • Camera-ready for accepted Scientific contributions: July 29, 2019, 23:59 CEST

EuroVR 2019 Conference: 1st Call for Contributions

The 16th EuroVR International Conference  (23-25 October 2019 in Tallinn, Estonia), opens the 1st call for contributions. From this year on, all contributions are organized in two main tracks, each one divided into several categories as follows.

1) Scientific track submissions can be:

  • Long (14-20 pages) or short (8-10 pages) scientific papers: original, unpublished papers documenting new research contributions, practice and experience, or novel applications in VR or AV/AR/MR.
  • Scientific poster papers (4-6 pages): work in progress or other scientific contributions that do not fit one of the categories of this call, such as ideas for unimplemented and/or unusual systems.

The deadline for manuscripts’ submission is June, 3rd. As manuscripts are peer-reviewed and published on a rolling basis, you are welcome to submit your paper any time sooner. Accepted manuscripts may incur into Article Processing Fees ranging from 450 to 1,035 USD, depending on article type.

Workshop on Semantic 3D Content (Eurographics-EuroVR)

EuroVR will contribute to the conference Eurographics (Genova, 6-10 May 2019) with a workshop on Semantic 3D content (6 May 2019).

The workshop attempts to foster and support the increasing development, use, and utility of semantic 3D technologies for researchers, application developers, domain experts as well as for end users. This includes semantic creation of interactive 3D content, robust and versatile semantic 3D content representation and delivery standards as well as semantic presentation and interaction techniques enabling development of user-friendly 3D/VR/AR applications.

The goal of the workshop is to share innovative and creative ideas that enable development of semantic 3D applications for a wide range of 3D environments, including the web, mobile as well as virtual and augmented reality (VR & AR) setups.
