Call for participation-VR4REHAB Belgian Hackathon

EuroVR provides the opportunity to contribute to the VR4REHAB Belgian Hackathon, which will take place in Bruges on 25, 26 and 27 October 2018.

The event, co-organized by EuroVR and Sint Maartenskliniek for the project VR4REHAB, consists in a 2-days workshop which gathers together entrepreneurs, patients, rehabilitation personnel as well as technical specialists to find out new ideas concerning rehabilitation with VR.

VR4REHAB is a three-year project financed by the InterReg NWE Programme that includes seven European partners, like Sint Maartenskliniek, European Association of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, St. Mauritius Therapieklinik, Teesside University, Royal Free London NHS Trust, Université de Lille 1 – Sciences et Technologies and Games for Health Europe, which are working together to realize the innovation potential that emerges from the intersection of VR-technologies and the demand from rehabilitation clinics’ specialists.

Call for participation

EuroVR has now the opportunity to bring its expertise and enrich the agenda of the Belgian hackathon with its resources. The Members of the Association are invited to take part in the event and to contribute to the hackathon as:

  • Speakers;
  • Coaches and tutor who will support the participants’ work;
  • Providing demos, presentation and industry showcase.
