Graphics or Frontiers in Virtual Reality<\/span><\/p><p class=\"_04xlpA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\"><span class=\"S1PPyQ\">2) Springer (EquiOCS) website for the Scientific paper submissions is open:<\/span> <a class=\"S1PPyQ\" draggable=\"false\" href=\"https:\/\/equinocs.springernature.com\/service\/EuroXR2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/equinocs.springernature.com\/service\/EuroXR2023<\/a><\/p><div><p><b>Scientific papers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> must describe novel research results and will be published in a Springer LNCS volume (Lecture Notes in Computer Science).;<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Authors can choose between three kinds of Scientific paper submissions:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Full paper:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 14-20 pages in the Springer format (about eight pages in traditional two-column format) with ~30 minutes presentation at the conference<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Medium paper:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 8-12 pages in Springer\u2019s format with ~20 minutes of presentation<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Short paper: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4-6 pages Springer format with ~10 minutes presentation. This type is meant for work-in-progress, position papers, and similar content.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All scientific submissions will have to follow the one column Springer format (see below, <\/span><b>Paper Formatting<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> section). Please note that indicated paper lengths do not include references.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The topics of interest of scientific contributions papers may be seen <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.euroxr-association.org\/conference2023\/topics\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All submissions will undergo a rigorous double blind peer reviewing process among the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.euroxr-association.org\/conference2022\/international-program-committee\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">International Program Committee<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (IPC) Based on their reviews, the\u00a0 <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/walczak@kti.ue.poznan.pl,%20zach@cs.uni-bremen.de,%20omar.niamut@tno.nl,%20malcaniz@i3b.upv.es,%20kjohnsen@uga.edu,%20w.s@sfu.ca\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scientific Program Chairs<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of EuroXR 2023 will select the best submissions to be presented at the conference. All papers accepted in the scientific track will be published in the scientific proceedings of EuroXR 2023, edited by <\/span><b>Springer <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">as a volume of the <\/span><b>Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">series. <\/span><b>Indexing <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">information of the LNCS series is available on this <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.springer.com\/fr\/computer-science\/lncs\/information-on-abstracting-and-indexing\/799288\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Springer webpage<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submissions have to be uploaded to the management system of <\/span><b>Springer (EquinOCS)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> here:.<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/equinocs.springernature.com\/service\/EuroXR2023\"><b>https:\/\/equinocs.springernature.com\/service\/EuroXR2023<\/b><\/a><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published. A manuscript is considered to have been previously published if it has appeared in a peer-reviewed journal, magazine, book or conference proceedings that is reliably and permanently available afterwards in print or electronic form to non-attendees, regardless of the language of that publication. A manuscript identical or substantially similar in content (in its entirety or in part) to one submitted to EuroXR 2023 should not be simultaneously under consideration for another conference or journal during any part of the review process, from the submission deadline until final notifications of decisions are emailed to the authors.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submissions (including citations and optional videos) should not contain information that identifies the authors, their institutions, funding sources, or their places of work. Relevant previous work by the authors should be cited in the third person to preserve anonymity.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In case of acceptance, at least one author is expected to present the paper in person at the conference.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>Paper Formatting<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Authors should consult Springer\u2019s Instructions for Authors of Proceedings and use either the LaTeX or the Word templates provided on the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.springer.com\/gp\/computer-science\/lncs\/conference-proceedings-guidelines\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> authors\u2019 page<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the preparation of their papers. For your convenience, Springer\u2019s proceedings LaTeX templates are also available in<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.com\/v3\/__https:\/www.overleaf.com\/latex\/templates\/springer-lecture-notes-in-computer-science\/kzwwpvhwnvfj*.WsdHOy5uZpg__;Iw!!NLFGqXoFfo8MMQ!5RfivTHcSCOkj6l9AXMo_DEWybVANwa-2gfrOow34aeZZACgUPlT9PrBOpq1Xe4pvk4$\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Overleaf<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To allow for a double blind peer reviewing process, please make your submissions\u00a0 fully anonymous (no author names, nor affiliation, only anonymous self references). Papers which are not anonymous will be automatically desk-rejected.<\/span><\/p><p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p><b>Review process<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The review process will be performed in two stages:\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the first stage, all submissions will be reviewed by at least three independent\u00a0reviewers, and notifications will be sent to the authors.\u00a0Authors will then have an opportunity to clarify issues identified by the reviewers.\u00a0In the second stage, the reviewers will make a final recommendation on the paper.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>Notification categories\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the end of the reviewing procedure of the Scientific track, submitted contributions will have three possible status.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some submissions will be accepted in their original category.\u00a0Some others, originally submitted as scientific full papers, might get accepted only as scientific medium\/short papers. Such contributions will be published in the LNCS Springer volume of the scientific proceedings of EuroXR 2023 too, but authors will have to re-size their paper.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The remaining submissions will not be accepted for the Scientific track of EuroXR 2023. However, some of them might get redirected to one of the other contribution categories of the conference, i.e, the Application track or the Posters &amp; Demos track.<\/span><\/p><p><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p><b>Camera Ready Instructions<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Authors accepted contributions will have to prepare a camera-ready file set. This set is composed of:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Camera-ready file (PDF),\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Full source files (i.e. Latex file(s) and all the image files, or the full Word file),<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Online signature of the Springer Consent-to-Publish form.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Springer encourages authors to include their <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/hbsa4D\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ORCIDs<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with their names and affiliations. We also kindly ask all authors to adhere to Springer\u2019s Code of Conduct (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.springernature.com\/gp\/authors\/book-authors-code-of-conduct\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/www.springernature.com\/gp\/authors\/book-authors-code-of-conduct<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The corresponding author of each paper must complete and sign a Springer Consent-to-Publish form, acting on behalf of all of the co-authors of the paper. The author signing this form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. After the camera-ready deadline, no changes to the papers can be made.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks to the EquinOCS system, the authors of accepted papers can sign the Springer Consent-to-Publish form online.
