center;\"><b>Scientific track of EuroXR 2022<\/b><\/h1><h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Submission Guidelines<\/b><\/h1><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.euroxr-association.org\/conference2022\/submission-guidelines-for-scientific-track\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/www.euroxr-association.org\/conference2022\/submission-guidelines-for-scientific-track\/<\/span><\/a><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contributions for the Scientific track of EuroXR 2022 can be:\u00a0<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Scientific Full papers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 either <\/span><b>Long<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (14-20 pages) or <\/span><b>Medium<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (8-12 pages) sizing &#8211; to be presented respectively as <\/span><b>long <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">or <\/span><b>short talks<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> during the <\/span><b>scientific talks sessions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: such submissions target original, unpublished papers presenting new research, original research questions in new practices or experience, novel insights in XR\/VR\/AR\/MR, or sound states-of-the-art on challenging research questions in that field.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Scientific Short papers <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(4-6 pages) to be presented during the <\/span><b>scientific poster sessions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: such submissions target work in progress or other scientific contributions including ideas for unimplemented and\/or unusual VR or AV\/AR\/MR systems.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All scientific submissions will have to follow the one column Springer format (see below, <\/span><b>Paper Formatting<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> section). <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please note that indicated paper lengths do not include references<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The topics of interest of scientific contributions papers may be seen<\/span> <a 400;\">All submissions will undergo a rigorous <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">double blind peer reviewing process<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> among the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.euroxr-association.org\/conference2022\/international-program-committee\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">International Program Committee<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (IPC) Based on their reviews, the\u00a0 <\/span><a href=\"mailto:malcaniz@i3b.upv.es;patrick.bourdot@universite-paris-saclay.fr;maud.marchal@irisa.fr;jeanine.stefanucci@psych.utah.edu;yangxubo@sjtu.edu.cn;zach@cs.uni-bremen.de\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scientific Program Chairs<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of EuroXR 2022 will select the best submissions to be presented at the conference. All papers accepted in the scientific track will be published in the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">scientific proceedings of EuroXR 2022<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, edited by <\/span><b>Springer <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">as a volume of the <\/span><b>Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">series. <\/span><b>Indexing <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">information of the LNCS series is available on this <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.springer.com\/fr\/computer-science\/lncs\/information-on-abstracting-and-indexing\/799288\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Springer webpage<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For all Scientific submissions (Long, Medium or Short), from submission stage up to providing the camera-ready document set for accepted contributions, we will use\u00a0 the <\/span><b>Online Conference Service (EquinOCS) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of Springer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We kindly ask authors to upload, two days before this deadline, an abstract for each submitted paper<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, to plan in advance the paper assignment to reviewers.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To do so please go to: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/equinocs.springernature.com\/service\/EuroXR2022\"><b>https:\/\/equinocs.springernature.com\/service\/EuroXR2022<\/b><\/a><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In submitting any kind of submission, the author(s) agree that, upon acceptance, they will prepare the final manuscript in time for inclusion in the proceedings and will present the paper at the conference.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To allow for the publication of an accepted paper in the LNCS Springer volume of the scientific proceedings of EuroXR 2022, it is mandatory one of the authors signs the copyright form on behalf of all of the authors. The signing author must have obtained permission to do so beforehand. Moreover, the final manuscript will not be published without a regular registration of at least one of the authors of the accepted paper (including payment of the registration fee) before the deadline for camera-ready submission.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b>Paper Formatting<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Authors should consult Springer\u2019s Instructions for Authors of Proceedings and use either the LaTeX or the Word templates provided on the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.springer.com\/gp\/computer-science\/lncs\/conference-proceedings-guidelines\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">authors\u2019 page<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the preparation of their papers. Papers which are not anonymous will be automatically desk-rejected.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b>Notification categories\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the end of the reviewing procedure of the scientific track, submitted contributions will have three possible status.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some submissions will be accepted in their original category (i.e. Scientific Full papers, or Scientific Poster\/Short papers).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some others, originally submitted as scientific full papers, might get accepted only as Scientific Poster\/Short papers. Such contributions will be published in the LNCS Springer volume of the Scientific proceedings of EuroXR 2022 too, but authors will have to re-size their paper.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The remaining submissions will not be accepted for the scientific track of EuroXR 2022. However, some of them might get redirected to one of the other contribution categories of the conference, i.e, the Application track or the Demos &amp; Exhibition track.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><b>Camera Ready Instructions<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Authors accepted contributions will have to prepare a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">camera-ready file set<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This set is composed of:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Camera-ready file (PDF),\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Full source files (i.e. Latex file(s) and all the image files, or the full Word file),<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Online signature of the Springer Consent-to-Publish form.<\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Springer encourages authors to include their <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/hbsa4D\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ORCIDs<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with their names and affiliations.
